Neutron activation analysis (NAA) possesses many merits such as high sensitivity, good accuracy and precision, small sampling quantity and multi-elemental analysis ability. In recent decades, conventional NAA has been combined with physical, chemical or biological separation procedures to meet the ever-increasing need for chemical species study. In this chapter, the methodology and its applications of NAA in metallomics and metalloproteomics study in biological or environmental samples are outlined.
