This chapter is dedicated to the analysis of the chemical bond and structural features of neutral charge‐transfer (CT) adducts between molecules containing chalcogen donor atoms, LE (L=organic framework, E=S, Se, Te), and dihalogens (I2, Br2) and interhalogens (IBr, ICl). The reactivity of CT adducts towards a variety of metal powders is reported. CT adducts represent one of the most important class of compounds among those resulting from the reactions of di‐ and interhalogens with molecules containinhg Group 16 donor atoms.
