Because it is in constant contact with physical, chemical, and biological factors, the skin is susceptible to the development of various benign and malignant tumours. Non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSC), which include basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), are the most prevalent human cancers, with numbers exceeding that of all other malignancies combined.
