This chapter describes the general composition, materials and processes used to manufacture biobased composites. It presents panel- and structural timber/lumber-composites intended for either general construction and/or interior use. This chapter also describes wood-nonwood composites including wood-plastic and wood-inorganic bound composites. The mechanical property data presented in this chapter was obtained from a variety of reports of research conducted to develop basic property information for a wide range of biobased composite materials
