Visible-light photocatalytic ozonation has great potential for practical wastewater treatment using natural sunlight and air. This chapter reviews the typical catalysts for visible-light photocatalytic ozonation, the state-of-the-art understanding of the reaction mechanism, as well as the property–activity relationships, stabilities and future optimization directions of catalysts. Also, the present state and challenges for its practical application are discussed.
