As an efficient process for the degradation of pollutants in water treatment, the combination process of ultrasound and ozone is investigated. In this chapter, the generation of ultrasound and typical reactors are introduced at first, and then the reactivity of compounds, reaction kinetics and influencing factors of the system of ultrasound and ozone are investigated. Meanwhile, the ultrasound and ozone can be combined with a variety of processes such as homogeneous and heterogeneous ozonation. In addition, the enhanced mechanism of the process in which the hydroxyl radical is the primary oxidative species and the reactive mechanism of hydroxyl radical with the pollutants are introduced.
