This chapter overviews the preparation and application of typically supported metal oxides in catalytic ozonation for the degradation of organic pollutants. The synthetic protocols of different types of supported metal oxides are introduced and compared. The effects of experimental parameters in catalytic ozonation for the degradation of organic pollutants are discussed. The catalytic mechanisms of various kinds of supported metal oxides are summarized and discussed. Finally, heterogeneous catalytic ozonation over supported metal oxides in engineering applications is also summarized.
