When addressing climate change and global warming, it is essential to look for alternative clean, green and sustainable renewable energy sources. Bioenergy is considered one of the potential renewable energies and gasoline in particular has great potential to contribute significantly towards replacing conventional fossil fuel-derived gasoline. Green gasoline is produced using various types of biomass and is categorized into first-, second- and third-generation feedstocks. This chapter discusses different types of biomass feedstocks and properties for green gasoline production via different conversion technologies.
