This chapter briefs the conclusions of this book on the recent advances in green fire retardants and the green synthesis methods of fire retardants. Following this, we also present some future perspectives to facilitate a smooth transition to “greener flame retardants”, specifically, from “greener or renewable raw materials” to “greener synthesis methods”. This will provide some future research directions to enable a fire-safe yet sustainable society.
