Dr Arpana Parihar is currently working as a research associate at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal, MP, India. Dr Parihar has been awarded the prestigious GATE, CSIR–NET, DBT–RA, and DST WoS-B fellowships. Her research interests include the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials, 3D bioprinting, tumor-on-a-chip, tissue engineering, targeted drug delivery systems, stem cell biology, fabrication of micro and nano sensors, point-of-care devices, and nanomedicine for healthcare applications. She has more than eight years of research and teaching experience at various prestigious institutes such as BARC, RRCAT, IITD, CSIR–AMPRI, etc., resulting in several peer-reviewed papers in national and international journals of repute. She has published over 60 articles and edited eight books with renowned publishers.
Dr Piyush Pradeep Mehta currently serves as a deputy manager in Cipla R&D, India. He earned his PhD from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, India, and an MBA from Sikkim Manipal University, India. With over nine years of experience in the pharmaceutical field, Dr Mehta actively contributes to pharmaceutical process and product development. His expertise spans formulation development, device design, and particle engineering, reflecting a solid understanding of fundamental concepts and principles. Recognized for his valuable contributions, Dr Mehta was elected as a Newton–Bhabha Fund, Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Researcher (2018–2019). His work in pulmonary drug delivery earned him on-demand presentation opportunities from the Drug Delivery to the Lungs conference, UK, specifically in the field of modified throat research. Dr Mehta holds the credit for four device patents and has published over 50 articles, two books, and scientific communications in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he has successfully managed more than 20 international and national conferences, workshops, and scientific programs.
