Resumes/curriculum vitae and cover letters are core documents when applying for work internationally. This chapter looks at how you can systematically approach constructing your resume and cover letter for each role in a really meaningful manner. It is hoped this will take the stress out of guessing what you should include and how to include it. Some important regional and professional variations exist, which are included where possible. This chapter should be read in close proximity to Chapter 7 for the best outcome, as key selection criteria and interviews are heavily influenced by what you put in your resume and cover letter.
