The development of blood purification membrane materials has made significant contributions to the treatment of various blood-related diseases, especially in the field of hemodialysis, and has made great contributions to the survival of patients with renal failure. This chapter provides a brief prediction of future trends in the development of blood purification membranes. Future research directions of blood purification membranes include the development of self-anticoagulant membrane materials, research on the antifouling performance of membrane materials, and the development of integrated and multifunctional separation membranes with high efficiency.
