Advancement in Oxide Utilization for Li Rechargeable BatteriesCheck Access
About this book
Oxide materials will play a significant role in the development of rechargeable batteries. They have been shown to be effective cathode materials since the 1980s, however, due to their unusual properties their use in anodes and as solid-state electrolytes has recently gathered global scientific interest and is showing potential for both Li and Na batteries in different applications. This title will give a comprehensive overview of the various oxides in use in electrochemical energy storage devices. The aim is to give readers conceptual understanding of oxide materials and their utilization in energy fields for future development. The book will be of interest to postgraduate students and researchers in the fields of energy storage, electric vehicles, chemical engineering and materials design. The book will be interdisciplinary with experts in oxide chemistry, physics and materials participating.
