This chapter highlights the application of catalyst transfer polycondensation reactions in the synthesis of conjugated polymers with different chain structures and topologies, including fully conjugated block copolymers, block copolymers consisting of conjugated and non-conjugated blocks, gradient-conjugated copolymers, and polymer brushes. The synthetic approaches used for typical polymers are described. The potential applications of the resulting polymers in optoelectronic devices, biosensors, supramolecular chemistry, and nanotechnology are also discussed.
