In this chapter, we outline the specific features of solid-state NMR applied to disordered materials. Line-shape analysis for spin-1/2 as well as quadrupolar nuclei will be covered. Specific acquisition strategies will be explained with their application to one- and two-dimensional experiments. Examples will be given to illustrate the type of information that one can extract from homo- or hetero-nuclear correlations based on indirect J-couplings or direct dipolar interactions. Finally, some of the possible ways to relate NMR parameters to structural features and quantify disorder will be presented.
