Considering the tremendous potential of cellulose nanoparticles, the last few years have shown growing interest in their use as a reinforcing phase in high-performance thermosets. This chapter provides an up-to-date review of the thermal and mechanical performances of these exceptional materials. Moreover, all the existing processing techniques, as well as the reported chemical modifications, are scrutinized, and their impact on the overall performances is also thoroughly detailed. Meanwhile, the areas needing further investigation are highlighted to provide research opportunities for young researchers and newcomers to the field. As a future perspective, these materials are expected to compete well with traditional ones for use in extreme conditions and exigent applications.
