The goal of the current green chemistry is replacement of hazardous organic solvents, which lead to unavoidable toxic, solvent wastage or emission. The usage of reagents like solid supported inorganic catalyst has gained more attention in organic synthesis, such type of approaches not only avoid the use of toxic solvents to carry out reaction, but also create convenient procedure for the reactions. Heterocyclic synthons occur abundantly in nature and are crucial to life, in one of its kind oxazolones gained remarkable biological scope and emerged as a pharmaceutical potent molecules. They have been noticed beneficial precursors for the synthesis of amino acids, peptides, and also employed in the preparation of various heterocycles. Because of wide range of application of the oxazolones exhibited, huge demand for the establishment of eco-friendly, greener, economic and convenient synthesis of oxazolones are in scope.
