The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has strained human resources globally. Healthcare workers are the frontline warriors in this pandemic, and their judicious utilization is a must in this long battle. Proper allocation of healthcare resources, training of healthcare workers for COVID-19 care and infection prevention, and systematic and realistic duty plans are key tools. Planned management of personal protective equipment, drugs, and instruments can ensure their uninterrupted supply. The fight against COVID-19 continues worldwide, and to secure success, adherence to preventive measures and good management skills is essential. It is mostly affected by healthcare worker awareness and preparedness toward COVID-19.
