Concerns about the prevention of this pandemic of highly contagious coronavirus disease 2019 are on the rise, and so physical doctor–patient contact for diagnosis of common problems is being minimized. In this context, telemedicine or telehealth services can play a vital role in both developed and developing countries. In this chapter we discuss the various types of telehealth services, key outputs and limitations of this technology. We also illustrate the sequential logistics in instituting telehealth services at AIIMS Jodhpur, India.
