A medical professional training course mandates skill and competency development. Clinical exposure to patients is a strong component of training and requires physical contact with patients. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic created a unique challenge, whereby education was globally affected and forced educational institutions to embrace online teaching.
