In Chapter 7, we'll draw on some key concepts from earlier chapters, including cis and trans relationships from Chapter 2, axial and equatorial positions from Chapter 5 and helical chirality from Chapter 6. So it's important to revisit those concepts before studying the stereochemistry of inorganic complexes. And if your molecular model kit doesn't have an octahedral atom with six points, it's time to borrow one!
