No theory of aging to date has advanced our understanding of senescence or mortality. The mechanism of cell–cell interactions as the basis for evolution provides a logic for all of biology. Since the bioenergy of the life cycle is skewed towards its beginnings, it starts to fail after the reproductive stage of life. This decline in bioenergy causes the failure of cell–cell signaling, and the loss of homeostasis, senescence and death.
