Permissions information

If you are the author of an RSC publication, you do not need to request permission to reproduce figures and diagrams from your publication provided correct acknowledgement is given.

If you are an author contributing to an RSC publication, you do not need to request permission to reproduce other RSC content provided correct acknowledgement is given.

In all other instances, permission can be requested to reproduce material from a book via the ‘Get permissions’ button on any book chapter landing page, which will take you directly to the relevant Copyright Clearance Center request page.
